About Us
Sleepy Hollow Fire Protection District (SHFPD) was established February 28, 1949 as an autonomous Special District of the State of California responsible for fire protection and emergency services in the unincorporated area and surrounding parcels of Sleepy Hollow in Marin County, California. Sleepy Hollow Fire Protection District provides these services through its membership in the Ross Valley Fire Department, a Joint Powers Authority operated by the towns of San Anselmo, Fairfax, Ross, and the SHFPD.
